The Austin Film Festival has a lovely gala fund raiser at the Driskill Hotel - something about food and film? You may have heard of it.
Participating restaurants at press time include Carmelo's Ristorante, Driskill Grill, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille, Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill, Parkside, Polkadots Cupcake Factory, Ranch 616, Restaurant Jezebel, Roaring Fork, Siena Ristorante Toscana, Viking Home Appliances, Whole Foods Market and more...personally, I'm rooting for cake balls.

I always forget about the Driskill's 1886 Cafe & Bakery. I don't know why. It's located in the heart of Austin, and is a delightful place to meet a friend for lunch, or relax at a window table and watch more… [1 review]

One of our fave annual parties. And talk about value! The ticket price includes unlimited food and libations. Can you say "recession buster"?
