(Critics) The "dishola duo" are absolutely right about the Spotted Pig's burger and fries. The $17 price tag is worth EVERY penny. And I'm not even a burger person, much less a big carnivore.
The beef is such high quality; it reminds me of top-notch steak tartare, piled on top of a fresh, homemade bun. And even if red meat makes you squeamish, please don't order this burger well-done. You'll miss all of the juicy flavors, and tender texture.
And the fries. OMG. Let's just call these skinny crisp spuds a work of genius. Ever since I left NYC, I've been on a quest for copycat garlic-rosemary fries. Alas, to no avail.
But my quest WILL continue...
