Dishola: Reviews by the Dish

The dishola duo are absolutely right - these empanadas are delicious AND authentic. Close your eyes as you bite into the carne picante - packed with pine nuts, raisins, ground beef, and slivered green olives - and you'll imagine yourself at a stylish street side cafe in Buenos Aires. Don't forget to dip liberally into that chimchurri sauce - chock full of garlic, parsley, and olive oil. To hell with your breath; this is absolutely worth the flavor sensation.

Buenos Aires Cafe is a great spot. The restaraunt itself is small but well put together and the service is both helpful and relaxed. We started off with two carne picante and two pollo empanadas. (For those that don't habla that's two beef, two chicken). They were served hot and baked till flakey (in a good way) and golden brown.

Don't miss the chimichurri sauce. Great addition.
