El Paseo Inn serves good (not great) Mexican-American style food served in a colorful and entertaining atmosphere. The patio seating is located right on historic Olvera Street -- so strolling musicians will serenade you (for a gratuity) and you can shop for trinkets after your meal. You'll also pay twice the price you would at most other SoCal Mexican joints. Nevertheless, the food is filling and tasty (with the exception of a basketful of stale tortilla chips).
