This French/Vietnamese fusion sandwich is delicious! You can get it with pork or chicken (I chose the later) and then choose grilled or bbq meat (again, I chose the later). The meat is put in a baguette and then topped with daikon, carrot, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeno. It also comes with mayo, which I was a little hesitant of since I'm not a mayo fan, but it was a perfect amount and didn't detract from the sandwich at all. I wasn't quite sure if all or only some of the veggies had been vinegar-pickled, but the carrots definitely had been. I'm a sucker for pickled carrots, so I was in heaven. The bbq chicken appeared to only be breast meat, and was perfectly cooked. Also, the sandwich is huge (a regular sized baguette), so you could easily share the sandwich. I, however, had no problem polishing off the entire thing. Three hours later I'm still thinking about it.
(Note: Lulu B's is in a trailer next to Office Depot on S. Lamar and Oltorf. If you don't know it's in a trailer you could easily pass it.)
