One of the several courses we partook on our 5 hour culinary adventure at Vue de Monde included this wonderful mushroom gnocchi dish. But don't be fooled, it wasn't your ordinary gnocchi. they were more like liquid-filled capsules, possibly a gnocchi from the future.

as you take your first bite of this gnocchi, a cep flavored liquid puree gushes into your mouth, which startles you at first with its unexpected form and subsequently with its extraordinary depth of flavor. The rich and woodsy taste of the mushroom gnocchi is definitely the star attraction of this dish, but is well accompanied by its entourage of sauteed mushrooms, zucchini flower, and tarragon emulsion.

can't rave about this dish enough. but please beware though, this gnocchi of the future very well may just rocket you into space just from the taste explosion in your mouth alone...
