Yes, this little side dish, which i'd be willing to attest to in court, is the main attraction of this greek-american cafe. and WHY someone would opt to go for their award-winning french fries instead, i'm not quite sure.
these highly addictive oven roasted potatoes are seemingly drenched and infused with, i suspect, lemon juice and butter and then doused with sumac. the flavor combination is just utterly tantalizing beyond description and belief. and the potatoes are just so tender that they almost melt in your mouth.
but who knows and who cares what's really in it? this dish is so crazy good it should be locked up in an insane asylum, with just ME as its inmate.
