This is it. It might not look like it but this is in fact the best burrito in the known universe and I've spent about 20 years now trying to find another one that's better and I've had no luck. It's not one of those silly kitchen sink California burritos (corn and peas in a burrito - please, that's unholy). No this is a burrito of love and tradition where the flavors blend in the sort of perfect way that can only come from some sort of long held family recipe. Some people don't agree with me on this and to them I say - you're wrong. The construction is fairly simple: a chile rellano roughly chopped and rolled in a flour tortilla with rice and beans and (if you ask) smothered in a green tomatillo/jalepéno sauce to die for. It is simply perfect. I live for Mexican food and this is the sort of place I'll go 500 miles out of my way for. Why do I live so far away?
