So I was born in the suburbs of Philly and have grown up enjoying cheesesteaks and hoagies (and soft pretzels and Tastykakes) so I'm going to just say straight up that this may be a blasphemous thing to say but this is better than anything you can get in Philly. Yup, better than Geno's and better than Pat's - I kid you not. It's partly because the owner gets his ingredients from the same places in Philly but then uses better cheese (sharp provolone!) and bakes the bread fresh every hour. It's simple and better than it has any right to be and to top it off they have a massive selection of craft beers on tap - you won't find that in Philly cheesesteak haunts.
