The Alamo used to serve a frozen black bean burger, and when they stopped I heard the reason was either because the business had a fire and was destroyed or the burgers were recalled. Neither sounds great, but I appreciate that the Alamo decided to make their own. This burger doesn't wow, but it is hearty and easy to eat in the dark. It comes with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and a whole-grain mustard. I'm not a fan of the mustard, so I order it without. You also have the option to top it with cheese for $.75 more. It comes with a side of either fries or chips and salsa. I get the later.
