I thought I knew what's what with respect to queso. I even made my own set on dishola. But then I tried the queso at La Cocina de Consuelo and my world turn upside down.
I felt like I was tasting queso again for the first time. There's a smoky sweetness to this dish that makes it unlike any other queso on the list. It's absolutely wonderful, a must try, and in contention for the best queso in Austin.
