Personally I'm disappointed with this aperitif, the buttery texture and flavor of the avocado was drowned by the tequila and lime. Having it as a slushie didn't helped either. And honestly it was overpriced.
It is daring to present it as an option in this world of your run-of-the-mill margharitas though. That much i'll give.
But hey, maybe i'm just too used to having avocado smoothies served with chocolate syrup as a kid.

    This is a great review!

Cold and buttery and tequila-y. This isn't something I'd ever try unless a friend told me to, which is exactly what happened and I am glad I did. You will be too.

it is worth driving here just to drink about twelve of these. ok, you'll only need 5 to get trashed. consider eating some of curra's food while you're there--i've never had a dish there that isn't a solid 7, usually closer to 9.

avocado versus tequila--the winner is you! now, add a little cilantro and chill. damn, it's always summer in 78704 (and on burnet rd, but maybe...not quite so much, since you have to sit inside)

    This is a great review!

Very different, using the machine to mix a standard rita, they add a fresh avocado to the blender and serve it up. Give it a try!

This is a really good margarita and I don't even like them frozen. The avocado blends well and gives it a little more creamy texture and of course it tastes great.

    This is a great review!
