The restaurant claims to specialize in "high-end comfort food", but don't get sidetracked by the mashed potatoes. The green-chile macaroni dish combines the quintessential (& highly addictive) mild roasted southwest vegetable with homey elbows & a rich cream sauce. The quantity is ridiculously humongous, however, so share it between 2 or 3 normal eaters.
I thought this dish was pretty bland. I expected more of a chile-kick. I also thought the cream sauce was watery and blah. I actually feel generous giving this dish a 5, but my hope is I visited on an off-night. Having said that, a restaurant should be able to produce a popular dish the same way every night.
