In the insanely competitive bbq market of central Texas, Kreuz Market has some of the best brisket you can eat. No sauce, none needed. This brisket is about the same as Smitty's (Lockhart) as well. Apparently they are the same family, but had a falling out (Texas BBQ Wars), so the recipe is the same. They both are outstanding. Either place is a win for the bbq lover. This brisket is superior to the other Lockhart places (Black's and Chisolm Trail). Everything is good, but the brisket is the best thing on the menu.
