I've tried many of the tacos at Torchy's and this is by far my favorite. Not only is the name fun to order (imagine an innocent-looking woman ordering a Dirty Sanchez), but the ingredients are the best: eggs (menu says scrambled, but I think it's a fried egg), fried poblano chilis, escabeche carrots, guacamole, and cheese. I think what really makes the taco are the carrots. They're crisp matchsticks in a great vinegar marinade. I probably wouldn't be as crazy about the dish if they removed the carrots--my rating would probably go down to a 7 or 8 without them.

This is one of my MOST favorite dishes in town. The first time I tried it, I had it three days in a row! However, the combination of flavors is the bomb! Genius. Try it with their queso and diablo sauce and you're in Heaven.

    This is a great review!
