Can't say anything less about this sandwich, except that it's probably one of the best sandwiches i've had in Austin!
The crispiness of the french bread, the just-right heat from the garlic, jalapeno, and chilli, the creamy dressing, and the fresh shrimp.
Top it off with the most-friendliest people you'll meet this side of i-183, and sweet and flaky cream puffs (oh that should be a review by its own!), you'll have yourself one of the nicest lunch in town. -

The shrimp sandwich with fresh jalepenos, shredded lettuce, sliced hardboiled egg, and Viet mayonnaise is my favorite among the various banh to be had at Tam Deli. Mrs. Tam and Mrs. Ngoc are the sweetest, lovingest chef/manager combo there is and they turn out authentic, inspired sandwiches, on crispy french rolls, all day long!
