This WAS the best peach cobbler I've had in my entire life. As our tablemates pointed out, the ratio of biscuit and peach was perfect, and these were spicey, luscious peach slices. The base was not gummy at all, and the cobbler was refreshingly not-too-sweet. The side of super-cold ice cream melted slowly up against the piping hot cobbler, and in no time, our four spoons were vying for space in the bowl.
