I agree that when the craving hits, their Fish and Chips hit the spot.

I also found that Mother Egan's does a fine job as well, particularly if I request that both the Fish and Chips be extra crispy. They also have discounted Fish and Chips a couple of days each week. Also at Mother's I can finish with a deep fried Snickers!

    This is a great review!

If you know of a better fish and chips, please review it! These are the best I have found in Austin so far. Crispy, greasy (of course) and delicate white meat. The fries are okay. I am not raving wild about the quality, but when I get my yearly fish and chip craving, I come here. I like mine drenched in malt vinegar sauce and ketchup loaded with black pepper. It would be nice if they were served in newspaper or if the fries were a little thicker and the fish more flavorful, but this is a pub in Austin, so I don't expect perfection.

    This is a great review!
