Sunday lunch at Green Gulch is an amazing thing, and the one thing they always have is their fresh baked bread, which is amazing. The crust is dense, and a bit crunchy - definitely chewy and the texture is consistent and hearty - this is not Acme uber-oven style stuff, but it has loads of heart and lots of soul. Butter it up with some fresh farm jam on top and taste the connection between you and the earth and the hands that worked the dough.
