According to the menu, this is Mama's recipe for cheese stuffed peppers. What do you get in this pepper-titled taco? One large poblano pepper stuffed with some sort of oozing, creamy white cheese, breaded and fried and tucked into a tasty tortilla. If I were altering the recipe, I might add some spicy pico to the mix. The breaded crust (of the non-crispy variety) paired with the tortilla is sometimes a little too much carb for me. But, when I dip this baby in my favorite Doña sauce, it's alllll goooood. Nice alternative when I am not in a carnivorous mood. I have a whole new appreciation for poblano peppers thanks to Roberto at Tacodeli.
