Offered for lunch only, this is Gulf Coast seafood in a corn tortilla shell with tomato, avocado and melted jack cheese. The dish is simple, yet a wonderful fusion of French & Mexican cuisine.

This is a great dish if you're looking for something a little different for brunch in Santa Fe. The chile relleno comes with fried eggs and beans. I also love the intimate, adobe, casita-like feel of the restaurant.

Maybe I'm partial; it is my restaurant, after all. But El Chile's "Downtown Charlie's Special" is one of my all-time favorite dishes. This combination of grilled shrimp and charbroiled beef or chicken fajitas is served on a sizzling skillet with frijoles a la charra, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Fresh tortillas on request. Ricissimo!
