Spicy Tuna Roll at Sushi Sake

Although I haven't had a bad roll at Sushi Sake, this one is my favorite. The sauce is so good, you'll want to lick the plate.

Fish Tacos at the Seafood Kiosk at Whole Foods Market

1105 N Lamar Blvd Ste Ste 200, Austin, TX
(512) 391-8400

These tacos rock! They use several types of fish including salmon and grill them. They are wrapped in whole wheat tacos with slices of jicama and an incredible chutney made with bananas! My sister-in-law from Denver insists we drive straight from the airport when she arrives to WFM to get these. The Denver WFM does not serve them.

The best calamari I've had ever. Fried but still succulent. And the place has great atmosphere.

Lunch Special - Vegetarian #5 at Nueva Onda

2218 College Ave, Austin, TX
(512) 447-5063

This plate has all you need for a perfect lunch but be sure to ask for the whole wheat tortillas as they are delicious. And if there's watermelon juice, ask for that as your drink. The lunch plate consists of a tostado with black beans, cheese, lettuce and tomato. The quessadilla has delicious veggies such as squash and carrots with white cheese, and then the rice is cooked perfectly. And then there's a small bowl of the best black beans you've ever tasted. I didn't like black beans until I tasted them here. This is my one and only must have meal every week!

Truly the best breakfast taco in town. I love them on whole wheat tortillas with a side of sliced avocado and a small bowl of black beans.
