The Chicken Gruyere sandwich at Oakville is served hot and includes balsamic roasted onions and comes on a ciabatta loaf. The sandwich is good, but not amazing. However, you should try it, maybe you will love it!!

This dish is heavenly! The flat noodles are probably the best in town!!! The fish sauce is not overdone and even the broccoli is delicious! You will slurp these noodles down quickly and wish you had more. ...I recommend ordering a Thai Ice Tea to help with the loss of your meal!

Dashed with vinegar and smothered in lime, this Pad Thai hits the spot. The noodles are a bit thinner than usual and stick together in a ball, but otherwise the flavors are terrific. The shrimp in this dish is a bit hard to find, but cooked well.

For under $7 a pound and seasoned to perfection, the taste value ratio of Pacific Star's Boiled Crawfish is unbeatable! If you are not lucky enough to have Cajun friends, there are few fresh establishments in Austin that can serve up this feast. Served with a unique tangy and spicy dipping sauce you can easily go through pound after pound (per person) of these mud bugs. Call ahead to make sure they are in season and even then they are usually only available Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun.

If you ever dream about the ideal oysters, these are them! Huge, fresh, and incredibly affordable gulf oysters are yours at Pacific Star. This hidden gem of a restaurant, which my crew lovingly calls "the boat" may be in way way north Austin, but once you try their oysters you will visit it often!
