There are only two main dishes at Diakokuya restaurant: Daikoku Raumen and Daikoku Tsukemen. I decided to give the raumen a try and boy was I in for a big treat. In case you are wondering what raumen is, raumen is egg noodle soup with slices of pork and egg with a bit of bamboo shoot and beansprouts. When the waiter brought out the raumen, you can already smell the soup from the kitchen. When tasting it, you can immediately tell that the soup is the one that sets up the flavor of the dish. The taste is just amazing. It's salty and flavorful. When looking it up on the internet, I found out that the soup is the broth of pork bones. No wonder it's so tasty. The slices of pork is also so special. The meat has great proportion of meat and fat to make it sweet and enjoyable. Then last but not least, there is the egg. I think it's already soaked in soy sauce and other sauces so the egg absorps those flavors and makes you wanting more of it. Overall, this is the best egg noodle that I have tried. Oh my god...what a feeling. I have never tasted dumpling like this. The impression lasted long after I ate the shumai. To begin describing it, let me start with the definition of shumai. It is a steamed ground pork dumpling with some vegetables on top like shredded carrots. The one that we ordered is the shrimp pork shumai. They put the shrimp on top of the shumai and the ground pork at the bottom. However, if you eat the shumai at Din Tai Fung, you are in for a little surprise. I took a bite of the shumai only to find there was a little explosion in my mouth. In addition to ground pork inside the shumai, the restaurant also add a little broth inside the shumai so that on the first bite, the water/broth inside the shumai explodes out of the shumai skin. The sensation is incredible. Furthermore, the taste of the shumai is excellent. Adding a little of vinegar, chili sauce and ginger makes this an excellent dish!!

Yearning for the meaty brunch that will satisfy your hunger while having a great taste? Then look no further because you can find it at Good Egg. Hog Wild has all the meat that you love: Ham, Bacon and Sausage mixed with potatoes, mushrooms and peppers. On top of all those is the egg with the style of your choice. The great taste doesn't come without the greasy feeling that you usually get when ordering omelets. Furthermore, for the side dish, I also requested the french toast instead of english muffin. Their French toast is just to die for. It is very fluffy with right amount of butter and sugar. Pour the berry sauce on top of it and you have yourself a very delicious French toast. What a perfect meal to start a day!!

Okay..the name of the dish is a bit discouraging. However, the taste will change your opinion. The presentation of the dish itself is already appealing. The meat came as thinly sliced meat that's ready to be grilled. There is no indication that the meat is actually beef tongue at all. However after the meat is ready, you can then tell that the meat is not regular part of beef since there is a unique texture and taste that's enjoyable. With a cup of sake and other meat, this dish is a must try

I agree with elsigh's review. This dish is heavenly. Two of my co-workers and I went to the restaurant expecting the usual pho dish for our lunch. Little did we know that Le Soleil has a surprisingly authentic and refreshing choice of dishes. Our waiter recommended the fish dish and the experience was just phenomenal. The fish was crispy, the veggie was fresh and the sauce was excellent. What an experience. Thank you Le Soleil
