Big, tender, smoky, did I say tender? Oh my god, the meat falls off the bone so easily, you can't even pick these ribs up. Artz has mastered the art of preparing these ribs. Their sauce is served hot too, which I'm a big fan of - it's tangy, and not too sweet. Just thinking about these ribs makes me hungry.

It's true - this is a true Dishola. And I'm usually not up for the fatty meat style sandwich, but I can't stop myself from finishing this one every time. embyorg's right too - get the spicy peppers. Watching this baby go through their toaster is the cruelest tease - you know it's going to be awesome. And if you can get the guy with the big silver chain and diamond earring to make it, you'll definitely be in for the goods.

An inch-thick layer of vanilla infused pastry cream sits on top of a buttery, crumbly crush, which is in turn topped with a layer of spong cake, and then, just to make it that much more insanely good, that top cake layer is slathered with chocolate ganache. Something about eating this one cold, right out of the fridge, is so satisfying.

Black-tipped, soft, rich, moist, and down-home - Ruby's is central Austin's best barbecue, hands down. Sweaty, tattooed dudes and chicks serve it up - been that way for years. The meat tonight was just unbelievably good, and the sauce was perfect - served in a big bowl, and warm and spicy.

The Mapo Tofu at Yen Ching is everything this dish should be - fragrant, spicy, and rich, but not overly heavy.
