Packed with sweet shrimp, lean pork, noodles, lettuce, fragrant herbs, and bean sprouts, these fresh spring rolls are practically a meal in themselves. They come with a peanut dipping sauce that is dangerously addictive. At a price of $3.50 for two of these babies, we were ready to eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A minor triumph as far as "tapas del mar" go, this ahi tuna is a must-order at Bin 555. It sits in an ocean of emerald spicy basil "olio santo," and is served with grilled roma tomatoes, shallots, chives and sea salt. From a visual standpoint, the sesame-crusted flat-bread appears to guide the plate - a sail in a multi-colored sea. It does more than look spectacular, however. The paper-thin crackers serve as a crunchy textural counterpoint to the soft, sweet tuna.

Emergency: if you like cupcakes and live in Seattle - and have NOT been to cupcake Royale yet, get over there now. These cupcakes are some of the best I've tasted (yes, they rival NYC's Magnolia, where Sex & the City first revived the mighty cupcake craze). They are light, airy and slightly spongy cakes topped with velvety butter cream frosting. My favorites are the classic chocolate and strawberry frostings, although lavender and mocha take close 2nd places. This is an ideal place to savor a cupcake and sip a cup of Jo (the coffee here is excellent too).

What is better than Carpaccio? ...fresh Colorado beef carpaccio. This quintessentially elegant dish works largely thanks to its simplicity. Slivers of raw Colorado beef are served with a touch of mustard aioli. A quail's egg is the only garnish. Utterly delectable.
