Great Niman ranch spit-roasted pork. Great spice, awesome corn tortillas. The salsa verde is good. Best part are the pickled carrots, onions, and peppers that come with the dish. I like to order two tacos, a side of refried beans, and either an agua fresca or a Mexican Coke.

A solid 10. Blue-bottle is my heroin. The Temescal blend is my fave.

The pasta was al dente and perfect as far as I'm concerned. The sauce was amazing: eggy, creamy, and the pepper did not over power the dish. The green onion was a fresh surprise. The pancetta was salty and tasty. I do think the pancetta could have been mixed through the dish a little more and so I'm giving it a 9.

I liked that they were super fresh, but I agree with elsigh that they were a little dry. I did like the dough and thought the proportion between dough and filling was quite good.

I'm not a fan of the meat doughnut--the dough was the bready variety. That said, it had a sweet taste to it that reminded me of Portuguese sweet bread, which I do like. I also thought the filling was a bit heavy on the five-spice.
