When in a vegetable-deprived zombie state, there are no other options. This Korean, do-it-yourself style sushi/taco station is fantastic. Though it requires some degree of motor skills, you'll get handroll 101 when you order it for the first time. Your seaweed tortilla, oozing with smoked salmon, carrots, cucumbers, purple cabbage, some white strips I can't identify, and red peppers is the solution to just about any problem I can think of. Best enjoyed with their home-made, cold chai tea latte. They even let me bring my own wheat-free tamari to substitute for soy sauce in the wasabi dip mix. Be sure to read the owner's statement of being as you exit through the back door. You'll soon join the ranks of us Koriente followers, too.

Luckily they give you spoons for this one so you don't have to embarass yourself by picking up the bowl and slurping up the oak-grilled escolar and yuzu ponzu debris. Arriving in a citris and tamari bath (yuzupon), your sultry escolar covers her eyes with candied kumquats for added relaxation. Just like being in the tub and never wanting to get out, you'll prune up at the thought of finishing this dish.

Your mid-western stomach hasn't seen anything like this! These potatoes count as two sides, and rightfully so. Green bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and potatoes are glued together by a stringy jack cheese. Yum! Well worth the made-to-order 5 min wait. Only a 9 because on occasion they are out of home fries, and these rare occasions are always depressing.

This lip-licking libation used to drag me from midtown to the 78704 region regularly. It is perfectly described as one part milkshake, one part guacamole and one part tequila goodness. Though I live a thousand miles away now, I still dream of this luscious guac milkshake and summer days after the pool.
