This lip-licking libation used to drag me from midtown to the 78704 region regularly. It is perfectly described as one part milkshake, one part guacamole and one part tequila goodness. Though I live a thousand miles away now, I still dream of this luscious guac milkshake and summer days after the pool.

hot cookies at your stoop, couriered by cute boys...really, now. they'll even bring you ice cream to accompany your oven-warm catch. the ribbons make good shoelaces, too.

agreed on the delightful mussels factor. But the Enoteca gets a big fat F on the gluten-free friendly factor. The exact same mussels dish was returned to me not once, not twice, but three times after I'd requested a new one. I wasn't rude, nor belligerent at the result of the unknowing plate garnisher who dropped bread in my mussels' jus. I just expected more respect with an aforementioned and pre-emphasized food allergy situation. Though one of my favorite places ever, such great ambiance and energy, they really disappointed me.

Gluten-free bellies look no more. P Terry's does not fry anything else in their oil, leaving pristine canola footprints on each tender potato sliver. French fries can be moody, bear with them on their tender, slouchy days. Crispy, skin-backed rewards are littered throughout the mix.

For a gluten-free girl, or just about anyone with taste buds, this treat is a trampoline of delight. A squishy and bouncy alternative to the typically dense, dry, rice-floured delicacies of the wheat-free world. A cream cheese icing hovers around the upper rim, validating my existence with every bite. I rarely share this gravity-defying treat, unless there's a ding-dong offered in trade.
